Elite Sets is an independent project. It has no connection to the College Board or the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, does not use their materials, and cannot tell you anything official about the test.

A 13-question set of hard, original math questions at the top difficulty band, timed at 21 minutes — the same per-question pace as the real thing. It is a diagnostic, not a full-length practice test: 13 questions can show you which traps catch you and where your pacing breaks, but they cannot measure how you hold up across a whole module.

Set 1 is multiple-choice math only. Student-produced-response questions arrive in later sets, and Reading & Writing is a separate project.

Every question here is written from scratch by a human, checked by a second solver, and logged with its provenance. No College Board material is copied, paraphrased, or used anywhere in the process — including as input to any AI tool.

Each question is written from a concept specification, then solved independently by a second person who tries to break it — looking for ambiguity, more than one defensible answer, or a shortcut that makes it trivial. Roughly twice as many questions are written as ship; the ones that survive get a time budget and a named trap on each wrong choice. Grading happens on our server, so the answer key is not sitting in the page you are reading.

No account, no name, no login. A random ID is generated in your browser and stored with your answers, your timings, your device type, and the link you arrived from. It is not linked to your identity — but it is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: if you pay the $10 reservation, Stripe collects your email for delivery and that payment carries the same random ID, which connects the two.

No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no data sold or shared. The five events we record (arrived, started, finished, viewed results, clicked reserve) go to our own database and nowhere else.

All probe data is deleted after the season ends in November 2026, apart from aggregate counts that identify no one. You can ask for your data to be deleted sooner at any time.

Email prep.app.admin@gmail.com to have your data deleted, to ask what is stored about you, or to request a refund. Include the date you took the set; if you paid, the email you used at checkout is enough to find you.

Intended for students aged 14 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we ask that under-13s not use it.

The full season pass is $49. Your $10 reservation is credited toward it, so you'd pay $39 when the program starts the week of September 14, 2026.

Elite Set 2 arrives by September 15, 2026, emailed to the address you use at checkout. If it misses that date, everyone is refunded.

Refundable any time before the program starts — no questions asked, just reply to the email. If Set 2 does not arrive by September 15, 2026, everyone who reserved is refunded without being asked. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
